Social Service Roundtable: W/SW Philly

Calling all social service agencies and community based programs that help families residing in West/Southwest Philadelphia!
This roundtable event will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 from 12:30p.m. to 3:00p.m. at the West Philadelphia Community Center located at 3512 Haverford Avenue. The event will be sponsored by Child Care Information Services for West/Southwest Philadelphia (CCIS-W/SW). This is an opportunity for social service providers and community organizations to come together and provide information and updates about their services to families who reside in these areas.
There will be a panel discussion comprised of representatives from CCIS-W/SW (child care subsidy and resource/referral service), Caring Foundation for Children (CHIP health insurance program for adults and children), Philadelphia County Assistance Office (assistance with cash, foodstamps, medical insurance and child care), Community Legal Services (legal assistance for low-income families), North Inc. (WIC ) nutritional program for women, infants and children), Deputy Managing Director’s Office (Administrative offices for services to the city of Philadelphia) and Special Kid’s Network (Help for families with special needs children).
All social service providers who attend are encouraged to bring materials about their programs to share with other participants in attendance. To participate in this event call (215) 382-5370 ext. 249.
