Seeding Change: Design Thinking for Environmental Justice Workshop – Jun 25-26
Posted by Penn State University on April 29, 2025
Welcome to the Seeding Change: Design Thinking for Environmental Justice workshop on June 25-26, 2025. Penn State University’s Antiracist Justice Frames POD will host a two-day working session, uniting educators, administrators, support staff, and community partners to explore how environmental justice can be integrated into curricular design and to enhance place-based learning for Pennsylvania students. Participants will engage in a design-thinking workshop to develop innovative projects integrating environmental justice into education and dismantling environmental inequity, with a site visit to a school successfully applying these principles. Funding opportunities will be available for those wishing to further develop their project ideas.
Meals, lodging, and travel will all be covered by the Antiracist Justice Frames POD at Penn State. Honorariums are also available to participants. Limited space is available, so register today!
We look forward to working with you on this impactful journey!
Location: Lankenau Environmental Science Magnet High School (6/25) and Penn State Abington (6/26)
