Trained teams of City Year AmeriCorps members provide support to students, classrooms and the whole school. Schools that partner with City Year are up to two to three times more likely to improve in English and math assessments, and the more time students spend with AmeriCorps members, the more they improve on academic, cognitive and interpersonal skills— skills that help students thrive in school, college and career.

Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Individual Giving will work with the Development Team to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and family foundations. On a daily basis, the Senior Manager, Individual Giving will focus on engaging a portfolio of individual donors, providing staff leadership to the Associate Board, managing the mid-level giving program and identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding prospects and donors. Their specific focus will be on building an individual donor base to raise increased resources, and ultimately, serve more students in Philadelphia. The Senior Manager, Individual Giving will report to the Individual Giving Director. The anticipated start date range for this position is October/November 2026.
