Help Us Shape the Future of the Free Library at a Town Hall – Jun 23, Jul 2 &16
Posted by Free Library of Philadelphia on June 17, 2025
The Free Library is reimagining what a public library can be. This summer, the Free Library of Philadelphia and the Free Library Foundation are inviting people from across the city to share their ideas, experiences, and hopes for our public library system. So, whether you’re a frequent visitor, haven’t stopped by in a while, or anywhere in between, your voice matters.
Join us at a Free Library Town Hall – We’re hosting a series of community conversations in June and July—on June 23, July 2, and July 16 – and we’d love for you to be part of one. These town halls are a chance to tell us what the library means to you and what you’d like to see in the future.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Let’s talk about:
- What role the library plays in your life
- How we can better serve you, your family, and your community
- What’s working—and what could be better
- Your vision for the library’s future, from programs and spaces to services and support
Each session will include library & foundation leadership and will be facilitated by The ROZ Group, our strategic planning partners.
Don’t miss out—this is your opportunity to help shape the next chapter of the Free Library!
See all town hall dates and RSVP here.
If you have questions or need more info, please fill out this form.
We’ve also launched a citywide survey—so even if you can’t attend in person, you can still be part of the conversation.
