Feeding the Village: Building Systems of Care to End Hunger – Nov 20
Posted by It Takes a Village to Feed One Child on October 27, 2026
Join us to explore what it takes to build a resilient, collaborative response to hunger from strategy to grassroots efforts to funding.
Food insecurity isn’t solved by any single organization — it’s solved by a system. This panel brings together the people and institutions that make up that system: It Takes a Village to Feed One Child, a nonprofit on the front lines of hunger relief, Unique Dreams, a community partner doing the day-to-day work of reaching families, and WSFS, a funder investing in long-term solutions. Together, they’ll explore what it actually takes to build a resilient, coordinated response to hunger — from mutual aid and grassroots organizing to strategic philanthropy and cross-sector partnership.
Date and Time: Friday, November 20, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, 160 East Erie Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134
