Don’t let the new school year begin without you and your school family registering for the Sixth Annual Celebration of Writing and Literacy sponsored by the Philadelphia Writing Project at the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania, 3700 Walnut Street, Philadelphia on October 4, 2008 at 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
This annual event provides teachers with opportunities to participate in interactive exemplary models for integrating writing in and throughout all areas of the curriculum in Philadelphia’s schools regardless of school organization structure. K-12 educators, paraprofessionals and parents are invited to attend and/or submit a proposal for a workshop session. The registration fee of $25 includes a packed day of exciting workshops, professional book vendors, a light lunch and ACT 48 credit hours for all who stay for the entire celebration.
