After School Activities Partnership 24-Hour Chess Marathon

“Checkmate Violence” at the PECO-ASAP 24-Hour Chess Marathon from Friday, April 16 to Saturday, April 17 at Temple University’s Gittis Student Center, 13th & Montgomery. Students from the Philadelphia Youth Chess Challenge – organized by After School Activities Partnerships – will play chess as an anti-violence activity. Mayor Michael Nutter will kick off the event at 5:30 pm on Friday. Don’t forget your chessboard. To register, contact Windsor Jordan at 215-545-2727 ext 18 or wjordan@phillyasap.org.
