A Long Way From Home: Refugee and Immigrant Children Without Parents
Join us for an inter-generational, interfaith panel discussion about experiences of youth who arrive in the U.S. without parents.

Panelists Include:
• Dr. Erwin Tepper is a member of “1,000 Children,” an organization of unaccompanied children who came to the U.S. to escape the holocaust between 1934 and 1945.
• Mr. Juan Guerra came to the U.S. as part of Operation Peter Pan which airlifted children out of Cuba between 1960 and 1962.
• Mr. Ayeun Garang Ajok is a Sudanese “Lost Boy” currently a graduate student at Arcadia University.
• A recent unaccompanied minor who escaped abuse in Latin America and currently is a business owner.
