Migrant Education Program Annual Conference

The Pennsylvania Department of Education in partnership with the Center for Schools and Communities is pleased to announce the 2009 Pennsylvania Department of Education Migrant Education Program Annual Conference, Education without Borders: Bridges to Literacy.
Plan to attend this statewide conference on October 19-21, 2009 at the Radisson Hotel Valley Forge in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
The conference will focus on methods to build capacity and support literacy development, parent engagement efforts and educational and support services that address migrant students’ special needs.
Who should attend? All who work on behalf of migrant children, youth and families.
There is no registration fee to attend this conference and Act 48 will be available (pending approval).
