Join CFSI and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia for a Conference on the Underbanked
We invite you to register for an upcoming conference entitled Innovative Financial Tools for Serving the Underbanked. This conference is co-sponsored by the Community Affairs Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the Center for Financial Services Innovation (CFSI).
Innovative Financial Tools for Serving the Underbanked: The underbanked?those who have bank accounts but who primarily conduct their financial transactions outside of mainstream financial institutions?often face high costs for low-quality payment and credit products. What are the key drivers of these high costs, and are they surmountable? Leveraging their growing knowledge of this market segment and evolving technology, financial institutions and nonprofit organizations are placing lower-cost products and services within reach of the underbanked. Join us to learn about these new and innovative programs and engage in an interactive discussion about the challenges of meeting the liquidity needs of the underbanked and their pursuit of asset building through participation in the financial mainstream.
When: Tuesday, October 16, 2007
