Spring Community Arts Workshop:
Thursdays 6:00-8:00 p.m.
7 weeks: March 29 ? May 10
University City Arts League (4226 Spruce St.)
Cost: $80 UCAL members / $90 non-members
Come to the spring community arts workshop at University City Arts League!
A chance for artists, activists, educators, and everyone to share skills and experiment with methods of using the arts to build community and support
social change.
Participants will learn by doing: building basic performance skills, developing personal stories, and finally, weaving these stories together into an informal presentation for family and friends.
Although we’ll be focusing on performance, the class will also use other art forms and draw on the interests and skills of participants. You don’t need a performance background to participate ? just a willingness to experiment and play in a group.
