Barack Obama: Where Do We Go From Here?

Forum focuses on promise of Obama presidency
The Philadelphia Community Institute for Africana Studies, Inc. (PCIAS), will hold the fourth program in its annual series of Black Public Interest Forums, Barack Obama: Where Do We Go From Here?, on December 4th. The program will include a panel discussion, followed by a question and answer period.
Featured speakers include Dr. Ronald Walters, director of the African American Leadership Institute and professor of government and politics at the University of Maryland, College Park; Dr. Mack Jones, author and former chairman of the Political Science Department of Atlanta University; Amiri Baraka, poet, playwright, author, and revolutionary activist; and Butch Cottman, activist, former director of planning at the Central Germantown Council, co-founder of Black Political Study for Social Change, and board member of PCIAS.
