PhilaSoup Start of the School Year Celebration
Monday, August 27, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Before we launch into the new school year, let’s get together!
There is a new Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Pop-Up Garden at 20th and Walnut. It’s a beautiful space (see these pictures!), a great cause, and its all ours the night of August 27th!
Come join us for drinks, appetizers and great educators. We’ll share the exciting things planned for PhilaSoup’s second year and talk about more ways you can get involved. Invite a friend!
Heads Up: Your $10.00 will go directly to covering the price of renting the garden space. All extra money raised from the night will go to covering the cost of PhilaSoup’s dinners this year. Please consider helping PhilaSoup start strong this year by making a donation. You may donate at the event or purchase the “level 2” ticket for $25.
Rain date: August 29, 2012
Philasoup is a monthly microgrant dinner meant to bring innovative and dynamic Philadelphia-area educators together, highlight the great work they are doing and fund some terrific projects. The vision for PhilaSoup is to be a monthly microgrant dinner that starts and ends with educators but is an access point to education for the whole city.
