Advancing Youth Development Trainings
Posted by on August 27, 2010
The Federation of Neighborhood Centers, in conjunction with Eastern University Center for Urban Studies, is offering an unprecedented opportunity to attend the Advancing Youth Development classes on campus at 3800 Henry Avenue, the site of the former Medical College of Pennsylvania.
The classes will begin on September 8, 2010 and will be held on the following Mondays and Wednesdays until December, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. There is scholarship monies available for both member staff and others.
In light of the parameters for State Certified day care worker licensing and continuing education, and regarding the day care eligibility age until a child is 15, this training will satisfy both the State of PA and Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System (PQAS) requirements.
You can get more information and/or register by contacting Arte Verbrugghe at 215-989-3566 X1109 or artev@federationnc.org or on the Eastern University website – http://www.eastern.edu/cuyd
