Youth Summer Social Impact Virtual Institute – Jun 27 – Jul 29
Posted by Center for Social Impact Strategy on May 3, 2022
The Center for Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania will be offering its free program for Philly-area high school students again this year. We would be grateful if you could share this opportunity with students and educators in your network.
We just opened up registration for the Youth Summer Social Impact Institute, and are spreading the word to friends and colleagues. This program is for young change-makers looking for skills and structure to help improve their communities and their world.
The program is free and open to any students 15 years and up who will be enrolled in a Philadelphia area high school for fall 2022.
The program will run for 5 weeks beginning on Monday, June 27th, through live online 90-minute workshops on Mondays through Thursdays, 10-11:30am. It culminates in students’ creation of a working prototype and final capstone presentation on Friday, July 29th.
Students who complete the learning benchmarks and assignments will receive a certificate of completion from the Center for Social Impact Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania.
Students will get to know each other, learn a lot, cultivate community, collaborate on ideas to change the world, and have a lot of fun!
