Youth Service America: Take the ServiceVote Challenge
Posted by Youth Service America on August 11, 2020
YSA’s ServiceVote campaign asks young people to help register, educate, and get their peers out to vote; to connect their volunteering and service to voting and advocacy on the issues they care about; and to increase youth voice and leadership in public decision-making.
Take the ServiceVote Challenge and complete 5 activities – one in each of 5 categories – between now and Election Day (November 3, 2020) to be eligible for one of three $250 awards. (Additional awards may be added later.) The 5 categories are:
- Voter Registration
- Voter Education
- Get Out The Vote
- Issue Advocacy
- Youth Voice & Leadership in Decision-Making
With 50 activities to choose from (10 in each category), there are options for all ages and all settings – individuals and families, groups/clubs/classes, or entire schools, organizations, or communities.
