Yheralis Lantigua: PHENND’s PA State Coordinator for the Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP)

Posted by on April 02, 2014

PHENND is happy to have Ms. Yheralis Lantigua as the Pennsylvania state coordinator for the Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP). CEEP is a national program which is aimed at maximizing student voter registration through institutionalized, campus-driven system integration and programming as well as providing program development, support and funding for voter education work on campuses. CEEP is completely non-partisan. Yheralis’s sole job is to help your campus develop new, or expand existing, strategies to increase student voter registration and turnout for the upcoming 2014 Gubernatorial election.

Previous to this position, she was a legislative intern to Pennsylvania Senator Vincent Hughes, where she gained valuable insight into the workings of state government at the policy-making level. Yheralis received her BS in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy and is now a Candidate for her Masters in Public Administration at West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Feel free to contact her with any questions regarding campus voter registration initiatives or partnerships to increase voter registration in schools: ylantigua@phennd.org
