Working with Immigrant and Refugee Students in Higher Education Settings, PD Workshop Interest Form
Posted by HIAS Pennsylvania on February 6, 2024
Welcome to the launch of our professional development project consisting of Professional Development workshops for local college and university staff and faculty on working with refugees and immigrant students in higher education settings this year.
We are hoping to have sessions discussing various topics such as different status breakdowns, policies on admissions and financial aid, best practices for advising these populations, and more. Sessions will range anywhere between 60 to 90 mins and can be tailored to focus on specific topics based on the unique needs and goals of your institution (undocumented students, financial aid, admissions, etc). In addition, these workshops will be offered at no cost to you, and can be catered to a virtual setting if needed.
If this is of interest to you and/or team and you would like to get involved please fill out the interest form here.
