What’s your tree story? The Philly Tree Plan is holding a photo challenge open to everyone. By sharing your #PhillyTreeStories photos on IG, you can win up to $200 cash, tickets to the Philadelphia Flower Show, and lots of fun swag.
Tell us about a tree you see every day. A tree where you meet your friends. A tree planted by a loved one. A tree that frames a memory. Everybody has a story about a tree. Tell us yours.
To enter, post your photos with both of the following hashtags: #PhillyTreeStories & #PhillyTreePlan. All images should be taken in Philadelphia and submitted by May 15, 2021. Before entering, read full contest details. Be sure to follow the hashtags to see updates.
Background: The Mayor’s fund of Philadelphia is working on a long term strategic plan for Philly’s urban forest guided by values of environmental justice, community engagement, and sustainability. As part of the plan, the Hinge Collective, in collaboration with local artists, creatives and photographers, are running a photo challenge highlighting Philly tree stories.
