Webinar:Inclusive Ingenerational Mentoring
Posted by on July 14, 2008
National Service Inclusion Project (NSIP) is pleased to host the July webinar on Inclusive Ingenerational Mentoring.
Date: TUESDAY, July 29th at 3 PM – 4 PM EST (2pm-3pm Central, 1pm-2pm Mountain, 12pm-1pm Pacific).
Description:
Engaging older adults in programming is essential and beneficial to providing quality community-based services. But how do we retain individuals as they continue to age? What accommodations can programs make to ensure success? How does the entire organization get strengthened through the process? Generations Incorporated has been engaging older adults in meaningful service positions for over 10 years. Partnering with Experience Corps, they engage older adults to tutor and mentor elementary-aged children. Jane Hamel, Director of Training, will share best practices as she answers the above questions. Following the presentation, there will be time to address specific questions.
