Webinar: Service-Learning for Medical Schools: Exploring Pedagogy & Practice
Posted by Child Family Health International (CFHI) on April 2, 2019
CFHI runs free, live webinars at various dates and times throughout the year. Webinars provide information on CFHI’s UN-recognized Global Health Education Programs, various academic partnership options, and other global health topics.
A recent webinar was on service-learning oriented toward medical schools. In the U.S. service-learning is now an accreditation standard (Standard 6.6) for medical schools. Expand your school and faculty’s understanding of service-learning and implementation of this standard. One of the presenters in the webinar, Eric Hartman, is the Executive Director of the Haverford College Center for Peace and Global Citizenship.
You can find the recording here under the “Watch Recordings of Recent Webinars” section and also find information about upcoming webinars.
