Webinar: Public Scholarship for Innovative Practice: Productive Tensions and Uncomfortable Conversations – Jun 18
Posted by Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities on June 11, 2024
Metropolitan Universities, the journal of the Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities, provides an opportunity for scholarly peer-reviewed online publication that centers the relationship between communities and campuses. In this webinar series, authors and editors discuss key ideas from the most recent issue and invite readers to join in the work of connecting our scholarship to our practice.
In collaboration with the Place-Based Justice Network, a recent issue of Metropolitan Universities journal focuses on the role of higher education institutions in fostering epistemic justice. What critical conversations need to be fostered and how do you approach community engagement through the lens of epistemic justice? In this webinar, participants will engage with the guest editors and authors to discuss this topic in more depth.
