Webinar: Poll Worker Recruitment – Sep 2
Posted by Campus Compact on September 1, 2020
For the past several weeks, Campus Compact has been working to meet the challenge of our national poll worker shortage through the Safe Elections Project. We have heard from many faculty and staff members on member campuses that they would like to know how they can contribute to this effort.
In response, we have scheduled a free webinar for Campus Compact members. Participants will learn more about the scope of the current crisis, why poll workers are so important, how to inform yourself about local rules and regulations, and how to mobilize students and recent graduates to help meet this crucial national challenge.
We will position you to be informed as you encourage students to sign up to serve as poll workers at Power the Polls: https://www.powerthepolls.org/campus.
The webinar will take place Wednesday, September 2, 3 p.m. EDT. There is no charge for the webinar, but registration is required.
