Posted by GivePulse on October 18, 2022
Kick off your planning for National Volunteer Week, April 16-22, 2023. Join Kelly Finn, Assistant Dean in the Division of Student Development at Albion College, and Jana Schroeder, Community and Accessibility Specialist at GivePulse, to learn the Manage by Calendar method of project and event planning and how to apply it to plan and execute a successful National Volunteer Week on your campus. This webinar is appropriate for both staff and students who will have responsibility for organizing Virtual Volunteer Week and other multi-faceted events and projects.
GivePulse works with a number of community partners to promote virtual, remote, and in-person volunteer opportunities during National Volunteer Week that can spark collaboration between campuses around the country. In addition, campuses are encouraged to work with their community partners to develop specific volunteer opportunities for their campuses and local communities.
We will provide more details about ideas for engaging in National Volunteer Week during the webinar. Whether your campus wants to host one service day or several events for the week, Kelly and Jana will walk you through your next steps to be prepared and include your plans in the 2023 spring semester.
