Webinar: How Students Can Help Each Other Persist by Sharing Their Stories – Mar 4
Posted by Get Schooled on February 18, 2020
The #WeBelongInCollege social media campaign will launch on March 9. This campaign, hosted by Get Schooled and the creators of the film “Personal Statement,” will encourage high school and college students to share their stories of triumph when they were applying to or getting through college. Through student stories, we hope to create a sense of belonging among millions of students from low-income backgrounds across the country.
In addition to the social media campaign, there will be an opportunity for students to earn scholarships and educators to receive free copies of the film “Personal Statement.”
Join this webinar on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, 3:00-4:00 PM, to learn how to leverage storytelling to increase students’ sense of belonging. We will give you the tools to enable your students to participate in the #WeBelongInCollege campaign.
