Colleges and universities are adopting comprehensive approaches to advancing nonpartisan democratic engagement on their campuses — working to improve civic learning, political engagement, and voter participation. Developing an action plan can help your campus strategize on ways to help educate students, motivate them to engage in American democracy, and instill the value of lifelong participation. In our 2019 webinar series, we will break down the Strengthening American Democracy guidelines over 5 sessions. In the 6th session, we introduce how to use the accompanying rubric to self-evaluate the quality of the plan.
