Webinar: Community Engagement Leads to Student Success, Dec. 16

The American Association of Colleges and Universities identifies experiential learning as a high impact practice and countless studies have demonstrated a correlation between experiential education and student retention. This webinar will explore one campus’s effort to track students experiential education in the community and analyze these outputs against other institutional data to demonstrate higher student retention and rates of success.

Presented by Amy Dickerson, Program Administrator for the Office of Service Leadership at Concordia University-Portland. Currently in her ninth year at Concordia, she has led the implementation efforts of GivePulse on her campus over the past four years and continues to serve as the system administrator for GivePulse on her campus. In her role, Amy has had the opportunity to be a liaison for onboarding courses, partners and programs onto GivePulse and has been instrumental in leveraging the platform’s data to better inform her campus community on the connections between community engagement and student success.
