Webinar: Closing the Perceptions Gap Among Stakeholders on the Work Readiness of College Graduates – Oct 28
Posted by American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) on October 27, 2020
The value of higher education is increasingly being questioned, with recent data showing that only 35% of college graduates feel school prepared them for the workforce. To address the issue, AAC&U, in collaboration with Kaplan and the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB), is kicking off a unique six-part webinar series, “Work Readiness Revisited and Reimagined,” to explore the expectations gap between college education and workforce readiness across stakeholder groups, including presidents, provosts, trustees, and employers. The first webinar in this series will explore and interrogate common perceptions, challenges, and misconceptions on work readiness.
Date and Time: October 28, 2020, 2:00-3:00 PM
There will be time for Q&A during the webinar. The webinar will be recorded, and the recording will be available online.
