Webinar: Building the Foundation for your 2026 Carnegie Application – Mar 6
Posted by Collaboratory on February 27, 2024
Join us for the launch of Collaboratory’s 2026 Carnegie Webinar Series in partnership with the American Council on Education (ACE). This webinar will include:
- An overview of the Elective Classification for Community Engagement, including what has changed since the last cycle
- Motivations for and benefits of applying
- Assessing campus readiness for both first-time and re-classification efforts
- Logistics/timeline
Over the next 10 months, Collaboratory will host and facilitate a national community of practice in partnership with ACE. Focus will be given to leveraging the Elective Classification framework as an opportunity to recruit allies and generate buy-in for community engagement on your campus, and to build a comprehensive portrait of your engagement. Each month we will address a new section of the application, sequentially following the framework. We will dive deeply into each question, examining the ways institutions are leveraging their data, and how to discover other data sources across campus.
This webinar and the larger community of practice is free and open to anyone from any institution as they consider how to leverage the framework for institutional change.
Date and Time: March 6, 2024, 2:00 PM
