Virtual Book Discussion: TEND: Exploring Mindful-Driven Advocacy – Dec 3
Posted by Partners for Campus-Community Engagement (PCCE) on November 19, 2024
TEND explores the burgeoning field of mindful-driven advocacy by forging together the fire-building process, mindfulness, and advocacy to provide advocates new and seasoned with concepts to sustain their advocacy fire.
Drawing from experiences in the wilderness, yoga, meditation, and two decades in politics, Dr. Camp approaches the often stern worlds of Zen and politics with a light-heartedness that allows readers to steadily deepen their engagement. The reader will know how to alternate focusing and expanding practices, like a bellows breathing fresh air on a fire, to sustain their political advocacy.
Join us on December 3rd from 1:30 – 3:00 PM EST as we discuss TEND, with author Matthew J. Camp, RYT, PhD.
