Temple Education Scholars (For Current H. S. Juniors) – Mar 31
Posted by Temple University College of Education and Human Development on March 8, 2022
The School District of Philadelphia and the College of Education and Human Development at Temple University are collaborating for a fifth year to offer the Temple Education Scholars (TES) dual enrollment program to school district seniors interested in pursuing college majors and careers in education.
Please help us identify young people (current juniors) who would be great educators and encourage them to apply for the TES program (2022-2023). Scholars have the opportunity to earn up to 15 college credits by taking 5 Temple education courses, while receiving academic support, mentorship, and college access programming from Temple undergraduate and graduate students and professional staff throughout their senior year.
More information can be found on our website (linked above) (including a 2-minute video of Girls’ High graduate and current ECE Major at Temple, Sydney Smith) and SDP’s Senior Year Only Program webpage. SYOP applications are due March 31st. There is a SYOP information session hosted by the district for those who want to learn more on Tuesday, 3/29 at 5pm (the application and registration links are available on the SYOP webpage).
