Are you ready to dive into a rewarding educational journey this summer? We’re excited to invite you to participate in the La Fuerza de Familias Latinas: Early Learning Provider Program—a free 4-day virtual program designed specifically for Spanish-speaking childcare providers and staff members of parent-serving agencies in Nevada, Philadelphia, and Staten Island.

Session Details:

• Session 1: July 10th – How To Engage in Creative Reading / Cómo participar en la lectura creativa
• Session 2: July 17th – How To Support Reading Fluency and Repetition / Cómo apoyar la fluidez y la repetición en la lectura
• Session 3: July 24th – How to explore Imagination and Playtime / 24 de julio: Cómo explorar la imaginación y el tiempo de juego
• Session 4: July 31st – How to use Music in Learning / 31 de julio: Cómo utilizar la música en el aprendizaje

Dates/Fechas: July 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st, 2024/10, 17, 24 y 31 de julio de 2024  Time/Hora: 1 – 2 PM EST / 10 -11 AM PST

Duration/Duración: 1-hour sessions/ sesiones de 1 hora

Throughout the program, you’ll engage in enriching discussions on how to:

• Support families to enhance their knowledge and skills
• Encourage families to take action and seize opportunities that enhance their child’s development

Our provider training also offers valuable insights into the experiences of both facilitators and parents during our family engagement workshops, focusing on early literacy.
