Spring 2022 Community Building Institute – Feb 1
Posted by Montana Campus Compact on January 4, 2022
The Community Building Institute (CBI) guides participants towards an intentional approach to community-focused work. Montana Campus Compact expects that participants will walk away more confident in their ability to create high-impact, community-driven programs and initiatives.
CBI is based on the community-building cycle. These six steps serve as a model for sustainable community development initiatives. The training is composed of five, web-based, hour-long sessions facilitated by community leaders and experienced nonprofit professionals. Participants have opportunities to interact with trainers and are provided support materials.
Here is the schedule:
- February 1 – 10:45am-12:00pm | Community Assessment
- February 2 – 11:00am-12:00pm | Creating Community Awareness and Stakeholder Involvement
- February 3 – 11:00am-12:00pm | Building Community Advisory Groups
- February 8 – 11:00am-12:00pm | Strategic Planning and Implementation
- February 9 – 11:00am-12:00pm | Evaluation for Everyday Use
All CBI sessions will be conducted via the Zoom video conferencing platform. Details to join calls and participate will be shared with registrants.
Programs that are registering AmeriCorps members should use the promo code “MTCC” to receive a 50% discount.
