The Senior Designer’s mission is to ensure effective, high quality creative services and related client service in support of PHMC’s strategy and goals.  The Senior Designer reports to the Director, Creative Services, and functions as a member of an integrated, mutually supportive Communication team; The Senior Designer has no direct reports.  This position will be 80% with the potential for 100%. The Senior Designer is accountable for:
• Design recommendations to his/her own client base, within the confines of the brand
• Management of internal and external resources as deployed for his/her own projects
• Exceptions to processes and formats for the creative services team’s planning and creative development services
• The Senior Designer supports:
• Assigned client base in strategic creative counsel
• The account services team with which he/she partners to serve his/her clients
• The Director, Creative Services, in the skill development of the creative team

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• On-time, in-budget, high-quality delivery of creative work
• Assistance with proposals and staffing Targeted Solutions / external projects as needed
• Contributing positively to the Communication team’s relationship with his/her assigned clients and with those clients assigned to his/her team members
• Proactive development and sharing of new ideas and knowledge to benefit team and/or clients
• Assisting the Director, Creative Services, with skill development of more junior members of the creative team
• Thorough knowledge of, understanding of and compliance with the PHMC style and brand guidelines
• Commitment to the mission of PHMC
