Self-Care for Your Staff & Community from BuildaBridge International
Posted by BuildABridge International on May 19, 2020
Involvement in an artistic medium is incredibly important for self-care. Strengthening your resilience and attitude towards hope will help yourself and those around you. BuildaBridge is striving to make imagination and creativity accessible, attainable and possible while dealing with the quarantine. Having a hope-infused perspective on the future is a human necessity and a fundamental part of BuildaBridge’s mission and programming.
All of our offerings (https://www.buildabridge.org/covid-19-online-offerings) are free and will happen on a weekly basis until June and beyond. Offerings include: art-journaling, creative writing, songsharing, yoga as well as video series on at-home art-making and a bi-weekly concert series on Sunday nights, Tones of Home (https://www.facebook.com/events/695551411271121). While we have public programming, we can also arrange community specific and more discrete programming if necessary. Please check back with us often. We will be adding more programming and videos soon as well as an offering from BaB co-founder, Dr. Vivian Nix-Early.
