Registration is open! Join us for Rise Up Weekend: We Organize, We Vote, We Lead on June 25, 2021, from 12-5 p.m. ET! Rise Up Weekend is going to be the event of the summer and will include inspiring plenaries and educational sessions all about voter engagement.

Rise Up Weekend’s lessons couldn’t be more relevant or timely. In 2021, there has been an alarming rise in anti-voting bills that limit early and mail-in voting, methods preferred by young voters. As of April, 361 anti-voting bills have been introduced in 47 states. Ironically, this year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Twenty-Sixth Amendment, which not only lowered the voting age to 18, but also prohibits age discrimination in voting. Yet, it’s clear that its promise remains unfilled.

That’s why, at Rise Up Weekend, we’re rising up against the alarming increase in anti-voting bills, and we’re rising up in support of each other, an inclusive democracy, and expanding voting rights for all Americans. When we organize our communities and vote in every election every time, we lead our democracy and nation forward.
