Recognition Opportunity: Youth Service Alliance’s National Gold Ribbon Schools in Service-Learning Program – Mar 20
Posted by Youth Service America on February 18, 2025
Youth Service Alliance’s National Gold Ribbon Schools in Service-Learning program will recognize U.S. K-12 school districts, charter school networks, private school systems, and other multi-school systems (e.g., parochial, virtual, tribal) that are creating a culture of service-learning and/or community-engaged learning. These districts/systems empower students to lead, innovate, and create lasting community impact. Recognized districts/systems integrate service-learning into education, ensuring it is accessible to all students—increasing student engagement, belonging, and purpose while fostering youth voice and sustainable change across communities. Applications must be submitted by district/system leaders (e.g., superintendents or other central office administrators), but students, educators, family members, afterschool and youth development program staff, and community partners who think a school district should be recognized for their service-learning programs can submit a nomination to recommend a district/system/network for recognition.
Application Deadline: March 20, 2025
