American Legion Child Welfare Foundation Seeks Proposals for Information Campaigns

The American Legion Child Welfare Foundation supports organizations that contribute to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual welfare of children.

The foundation awards grants for the dissemination of information about new and innovative programs designed to benefit youth or information already possessed by well-established organizations. Projects must have the potential for helping American children in a large geographic area (i.e., more than one state).

Grant amounts will be determined on a project-by-project basis. Grants will not be awarded for any of the normal, day-to-day operating expenses of the grantee or special operating expenses connected with the grant.

To be eligible, applicants must be considered a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

For an overview of the grant opportunity, restrictions, general tips on applying and the application form, see the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation website.

DEADLINE: JULY 15, 2017
