FY 2026-27 Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) and Building Opportunities Through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) Grant Program – Dec 10

Posted by PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency on October 27, 2026

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) is pleased to announce the availability of funding through the FY 2026-27 Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) and Building Opportunities Through Out-of-School Time (BOOST) Grant Program.

The goal of the FY 2026-27 VIP and BOOST funding is to support a wide range of local community violence1 prevention and intervention strategies, including, but not limited to, upstream prevention for at-risk school-age youth2 and intervention strategies designed to address violence that is already occurring in communities.

All interested applicants are encouraged to review the funding announcement and determine whether their organization and proposed activities meet the program’s eligibility requirements.

Eligible applicants should carefully review the application guidelines, eligible costs, required documentation, and application submission requirements before applying. Applications must be submitted through the PCCD eGrants system by the December 10, 2026, deadline. Organizations interested in applying are encouraged to begin the application process early to allow sufficient time to develop their proposal and address any questions or system access issues. We encourage all eligible organizations to take advantage of this funding opportunity by applying for funding to support and strengthen community violence prevention and intervention efforts.
