PhillyBlocks 2008–The Neighborhood Agenda
Posted by on September 1, 2008
“PhillyBlocks 2008–The Neighborhood Agenda” conference on Saturday, September 27th, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM will be an occasion for people and groups from all over Philadelphia working on reducing blight and crime, strengthening education, fighting foreclosures and high energy costs, and rebuilding our retail corridors will come together to establish goals and address problems that we will face in the coming year in each of these areas. If you haven’t registered, do so now at http://phillyblocks2008.eventbrite.com/. It’s $10.00. Last year more than 700 neighborhood activists showed up for this event. Dozens of groups and City agencies are already stepping forward with information. We’ll be releasing panel participants next week.
