Webinar: Best Practices for Assisting with Public Benefits Applications – Aug 12
Posted by PA Health Access Network on August 11, 2026
In July 2025, Congress passed H.R.1, a law that will fundamentally change how Pennsylvanians access food and healthcare.
As these new policies take effect, PHAN, Community Legal Services, The Pennsylvania Health Law Project, and Just Harvest are convening the Benefits Access Coalition.
Over the next few months, the Benefits Access Coalition will lead a series of trainings for statewide organizations looking to learn more about public benefits eligibility, upcoming policy changes, and how to get involved to protect access to benefits programs in Pennsylvania.
The next training webinar, Best Practices for Assisting with Public Benefits Applications, will review helpful tips for assisting Pennsylvanians with applications for public benefits and working with PA County Assistance Offices.
Date and Time: August 12, 2:00 PM
Future trainings will include:
- September 16th at 2pm: Stay Covered: How to Navigate Medicaid Work Requirements
- October 14th at 2pm: Pathways to Medicaid Without Work Requirements
- October 28th at 2pm: What You Need to Know About Federal Changes to Pennie
