Philly Hero Award
Posted by City of Philadelphia on February 20, 2017
The city is looking for nominations for the inaugural Philly Hero Award
Every unsung hero deserves a song once in a while. Here’s your chance to help sing it.
The fifth annual Mayor’s Day of Service Recognition is upon us, and this year, the Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service (OCEVS) is adding a new category to the awards, which have historically been given to folks who are either currently serving or are alumni of National Service organizations such as AmeriCorps and PeaceCorps.
It’s the Philly Hero Award, and it’s open to any Philadelphia resident committed to creating a positive impact in Philadelphia.
Submit your nomination here before Friday, March 3, at 5 p.m.
