Philadelphia Zoo “Our Neck of the Woods” Tree Decorating Contest – Oct 4
Posted by Philadelphia Zoo on September 24, 2024
The Philadelphia Zoo is accepting design proposals to be a part of the “Our Neck of the Woods” contest, a signature display at LumiNature, our annual winter light show! This is the 3rd year we are hosting the “Our Neck of the Woods” tree decorating contest and exhibit at the Zoo and welcome all of our neighbors to get creative, bright and bold! View the flyer for details – All proposals are due October 4!
The Our Neck of the Woods display is a forest of glittering trees designed and decorated by the Zoo’s neighbors. Groups (including schools, clubs, organizations and families across Philadelphia) are encouraged to submit this proposal explaining how they would decorate a tree that showcases and celebrates a special animal of their choice. The Zoo is encouraging proposals that highlight school mascots, local species, or a favorite animal at the Zoo!
Participants will receive a reimbursement of up to $500 to decorate their tree, with the chance to win a free BEHIND THE SCENES tour of your choice, and more!
