Philadelphia Afterschool STEM Exploration (PASE) Program
Posted by Philadelphia Education Fund on October 3, 2023
The Philadelphia STEM Ecosystem has been awarded a Million Girls Moonshot Catalyst Award by the STEM Next Opportunity Fund. This award will enable the Ecosystem, through the Philadelphia Education Fund (PEF), to increase the number of young people in Philadelphia who pursue careers in STEM – particularly those who are underserved.
PEF will administer an afterschool/ out-of-school time (OST) program called Philadelphia Afterschool STEM Exploration (PASE). The program will recruit STEM professionals to provide career presentations to students enrolled in afterschool programs.
Educators will receive professional development and $200 for their participation, and presenters will receive $100 for volunteering.
Interested educators and STEM professionals should contact Barbara Cousar at bcousar@philaedfund.org.
