PennSERVE is pleased to share information two opportunities to develop and operate AmeriCorps programs or projects.

PennSERVE Announces a Request for Applications for 2018-2019 Pennsylvania AmeriCorps State Competitive Grants

Grants are available for the operation of AmeriCorps national service programs by community and faith-based organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions. A Notice of Intent to Apply is required to be eligible for this competition and is due by Thursday, November 2, at 5:00 pm. Applications are due Wednesday, November 29, at 5:00 pm.

Introduction to AmeriCorps Funding webinars will be held on October 17 and October 26 provide interested organizations with an overview of AmeriCorps and the grant opportunity. Technical Assistance webinars to support application preparation will be held on November 9 and November 14. Additional information on the webinars is available on the PennSERVE website.

The Pennsylvania State Office of the Corporation for National and Community Service announces an opportunity to develop new AmeriCorps VISTA projects in Pennsylvania

To start the process of seeking support for a VISTA project with your organization, email PAOutreach@cns.gov to express your interest by October 20, 2017.

A conference call for interested organizations will be held on October 11, 2017. The attached Request for VISTA Concept Papers includes additional information on this opportunity and conference call instructions.
