Pedigree Foundation Invites Applications for 2014 Innovation and Operation Grant

The Pedigree Foundation is accepting applications from nonprofit animal shelters and dog rescue groups for its 2014 Innovation and Operation Grants program.

Innovation grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded to organizations that have successfully deployed creative programs that benefit dogs. Operation grants of up to $1,000 will be awarded to dog shelters and rescues to help fund basic operating needs.

To be eligible, applicants must be a nonprofit shelter or rescue group considered tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In addition, all applicants should be organizationally stable and demonstrate collaboration/partnership within the community that promotes, educates, and/or increases awareness of issues that contribute to dog homelessness.

See the Pedigree Foundation Web site for eligibility and application guidelines.
