PA Digital Equity Plan: Available for Review and Feedback – Dec 20
Posted by Technology Learning Collaborative on December 19, 2023
The Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority (PBDA) has drafted its Statewide Digital Equity Plan, as is required through the NTIA’s Digital Equity Act.
The draft Plan is now available for review and feedback. Public Comment is open with a deadline to submit feedback by 12:00 PM on Monday, January 8, 2024. The draft plan and information about how to submit public comment are available here.
The final version of the plan will serve as the state’s blueprint for advancing digital equity and provide the framework for the distribution of tens of millions of dollars in federal funding. It is imperative that the state’s plan reflects the needs and insights of Philadelphia’s digital equity community. We encourage you and your organizations to review the draft plan and provide feedback via the public comment process.
The Technology Learning Collaborative (TLC) will host a webinar to provide an overview of the draft plan and facilitate a discussion about its implications and ideas for potential feedback on the draft. For your convenience, we are offering a webinar on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, 1:00-2:00 PM. Register here.
