Nominate Young People Advancing Justice, Inclusion, Sustainability – for CPGC MLK Award – Sep 30
Posted by Haverford College on September 19, 2023
What young social change leaders are inspiring you? $1,000+ Cash prize and recognition (details at link & below). Please consider nominating or sharing.
We already have a couple excellent nominees. But it’s a pretty nice prize and recognition for early career social change leaders, so we are hoping we’ll hear about some additional excellent organizers that you might nominate for the Center for Peace and Global Citizenship MLK Award for Youth Leadership, Creative Maladjustment, and Social Change. We’re looking for:
- Youth Leaders advancing peace, justice, inclusion, or sustainability in alignment with MLK’s legacy, growing recognition of shared human dignity and/or ecological and human interdependence
- Preference will be given to nominees who advance such work from the Greater Philadelphia Region and/or neighboring states, particularly the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. However, exceptional nominees will be considered from any area
- Award recipients will be expected to deliver a talk or workshop at Haverford College during January 2024. Travel costs will be covered by Haverford
- Nominees do not need to be Haverford College students
Nominations are due by September 30, 2023.
