Year-long leadership development program offered
Leadership Montgomery County is now accepting applications for its year-long leadership development program.
LMC is designed with the assumption that everyone has natural strengths and talents for leading. The program helps participants understand and leverage their personal strengths and the strengths of those around them. This philosophy is applied throughout the program, whether it’s discussing how to lead high performing teams and organizations or effect change within the region.
The program includes 14 half day sessions – 8:30am to 12:30pm followed by lunch, and runs from September 10, 2009 through June 3, 2010. Sessions are held in Jenkintown.
Fees are $875 for nonprofit, government and education organizations and $975 for businesses. Partial scholarships are available for nonprofits, government and education organizations, and one full fee scholarship is available for a small business owner who is a member of the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the series.
Major support for the leadership training program is provided by United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
