La Salle University’s Summer 2018 Program Theme:
Power Up: Health is Your Wealth
La Salle University is hosting an exciting summer program for students that will explore several disciplines, including mathematics and science (Prek-5) and integrated content areas (6-8). Students engage in active, hands-on learning connected to real-life roles (scientist, geographer, world traveler, etc.). The major goal of our program is to have all students learn by building upon previous experiences at home and school under the guidance of our teachers and staff.

Our Enrichment Program
La Salle offers the opportunity for any student between the ages of 4 and 14, as of June 1, 2018 to enroll in our Prek – Grade 9 summer Enrichment program, regardless of ability level. In our fully inclusive classrooms, teachers are prepared to differentiate instruction to maximize each child’s learning and success. All programs motivate students to want to learn through hands-on, indoor and outdoor activities using evidence-based practices. Students take on roles as scientists, explorers, curators and the like to investigate the theme of the program based on appropriate district curriculum standards and content area specialties of the upper grades teachers. Eligible age groups for this program include students ages 4 to 14 (children under four years of age, or older than fourteen as of June 1, 2018 may not enroll in this program). There was a wait list last summer so do not delay! Enrollment is limited to 120 students.
